  If you are sharing something you want other people to use or purchase, the landing page should explain what it is and does. This sounds obvious, but a catastrophic number of open source projects and even businesses fail to do this I cannot count the number of times someone has dropped into a technical channel/forum/whatever with their thing and I have to ask them multiple times “okay but what does it do” even after reading all obvious material and I am usually surprised by the answer (subtooti...

  but here’s the thing: the default key bindings are one of the worst, least usable tire fires I’ve ever had the displeasure of using but you can install evil!! and this fixes the problem except in the places it doesn’t and in every single package which tries to emulate the default bindings and yes I could redefine every key in every mode I ever want to use but jeeeeeeeeeezus christ
