@JoscelynTransient@chaosfem.tw yes and: if his goal was to smash global dependence on oil and forcibly shift the world to alternative methods of energy production by any means necessary… what would work better than starting a clusterfuck directly in all the shipping lanes of one of the main oil producing regions? like, that’s not the method I would choose, lots of people are gonna die, but also any government with two brain cells to rub together has got to be champing at the bit to beef up their renewable energy production
