    Well, I deleted my Duolingo account. They did another rearrangement of the Japanese course so my listed progress no longer matches up with what lessons I&#39;ve actually done. And they&#39;re an awful company I wasn&#39;t happy about using anyway. Which means I need a new way to learn Japanese. I&#39;m already using WaniKani, which is great for learning to recognise readings and meanings of vocab including kanji.     I wish all retail staff understood that if a customer is not looking at them, then it&amp;#39;s pretty safe to assume that no, they don&amp;#39;t want any assistance. And if they ask anyway and don&amp;#39;t get a positive response, hassling them further is more likely to drive them out of the store than encourage purchases. It&amp;#39;s not like the difference between looking at merchandise and trying to get a staff member&amp;#39;s attention is subtle! ๐Ÿ˜พ
