@mwichary@mastodon.online Google must be working on the same mandate for Gemini that they were working on for Google Plus... they overrode the button combination on my headset after some update & now the headset cannot be turned off, because the button to turn it off starts Gemini instead. They did the same thing with the off button on my mom's *phone*, & she is trying to find the setting so that she can turn her damned phone off.

@mwichary@mastodon.online I always thought the only reason people use Chrome is that it’s the preinstalled default on Google-dominated devices? It’s never been a good browser, even before AI.

@mwichary@mastodon.online sounds like a cue to get rid of Chrome altogether for those who haven't done it yet. The Norwegian Vivaldi browser would probably not be a too big a leap for Chrome users..
