@davidoclubb@toot.wales "Walpole" is the name of a town near me, here on the other side of the Atlantic. According to Wikipedia, "The town was named after Sir Robert Walpole, de facto first prime minister of Great Britain." I'm not voting here, but if I were, it would not be for "Walpole" 😂

@davidoclubb@toot.wales On the rare occasion when I've posted about it, I wrote WalPol and CymPol. Simple is good, although WalPol always makes me wonder why people are posting about Britain's first Prime Minister.
