Mostly because it cheapens and commodifies such a profound concept to the human experience and our history. To try and claim a product has the same innate value as an actual conscious being.

Not "a" soul, but soul, since there is only one soul, and it is the Universe's soul. Having an individual soul is just an illusion, it's all part of the one soul.

AI Art isnt really good for other reasons, such as having a really really boring story and a straightforward combo of its inputs. Humans do reign supreme in how we combine our inputs to make new art.

The intention, if any to communicate something or evoke something in another person isn’t the product of a specific vision. It’s a loose description used to prompt of something like stable diffusion. At best, the intention of what to communicate ends there.
