@An0n@beige.party can’t speak for all German men, but i like to play with my wedding band (like a fidget spinner, you know?) and afterwards its random where I put it, right now right hand though. This morning Left Hand… i didn’t know there was any rule i should follow 😅

@An0n@beige.party En France, l'alliance est portée sur la main gauche (car c'est la main gauche qui est plus proche du coeur). Il me semble qu'en Allemagne c'est la main gauche pour la bague de fiançailles et la main droite pour la bague de mariage.

@An0n@beige.party Here in Germany, the majority of men wear a wedding ring on the right hand. Don’t know why, but I noticed that this differs across Europe. In Italy, it seems to be the other way. But nobody cares really about this, at least in Germany.

@An0n@beige.party Usually it's on the right, also in some other European countries. However, there are regional exceptions. It seems to have started during Reformation, but it's not bound to Protestants or Catholics.

@An0n@beige.party I think it's a mainland European thing. You do it the British way. I blame Napoleon, with zero evidence. We traditionally blamed the French for most things until fascism broke the natural order of things :-).
