@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I think I'm starting to feel this. Today I even had to sit through an LLM glazing session. I feel like an alien.

@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I know the feeling, I think mandatory training is coming in this year and I need to find a way out. Although reassuringly I have a colleague who has to use Excel since they changed teams and they keep asking co-pilot how to do things, then when it can't solve it they come to me.

@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I was genuinely shocked that a cow orker was using copilot to write sql queries. If you don’t understand database structures in the first place, then how are going to know if the query it suggests is correct? Perhaps I should tell them about little Bobby Tables? https://m.xkcd.com/327/

@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space I recently tried CoPilot just to give it an absolutely fair shake. I fed it a spreadsheet of scrapped products and asked "How many were scrapped between and -related reasons?" It told me there were two, and pointed to the specific rows. The correct answer was over 400. Shortly after, I have a presentation where I cited this as a reason never to use it.
