    Nice thing about Python is that I never have to worry about integer overflow, which is good because the maths of the Sūrya Siddhānta quickly involve some really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, tremendous numbers. Building bigint directly into the interpreter and using it automatically probably takes up extra CPU cycles but the convenience is worth it. #Python #Programming

    Tried implementing the Sūrya Siddhānta in Python. It works, but it&amp;#39;s as slow as treacle. Fortran, Julia, and Rust all have to deal with integer overflow. Guess I&amp;#39;m going to have to learn me a Haskell for great good.

So new life hack: You can probably read any paywalled article with a text-based browser, probably because they don&amp;#39;t do scripts at all.
