First day back at work after 6 weeks, and I can honestly say I have not missed it at all, definitely not anything Microsoft related, two reboots just to be able to work at all. Will kick off plan B, C or whatever version I'm currently on this weekend when I have a bit more energy. I think I'm frustrated/angry enough with the situation to actually do something at the moment. #MentalHealth #TeaRamblings

It's official, after a 3 month gap from playing Elder Scrolls Online and instead playing Black Desert Online, ESO is still better for my stress levels/relaxing. Will definitely be going back to BDO, but the combat is much much more straightforward in ESO. The life skills part of BDO is great but could do with being slightly less comprehensive. I think if I could pick my favourite parts of each, it would be my perfect MMORPG #ESO #BDO #MMORPG

Why, yes, yes I am the kind of person who will sit here carefully picking at a knot for about 10 minutes to undo it while hand sewing with black thread #Sewing

Yay, 3am and the brain is all over the place. Just over a week before I'm due back to work, so that probably isn't helping. Too many plans, not enough time and not enough compos mentis to complete as many projects as I would have liked, also thought I could spend more time in my office, but physically not an option 😔

Been a while since I did one of these, but finally a "proper" walk, well almost a mile, but I'm 4 weeks post op, so I think that's good going. Made sure to take my stick so I didn't try to go too fast. Lovely temperature right now but my part of Kent is very blustery today! #MentalHealth #Walking

Trying to write a response on Mastodon with a 400 character limit, first draft was 1,051. This feels like being at school and asked to write a short story (i.e. 3-4 exercise book pages long), and I would barely have got started by page 4! Currently down to 591 and trying not to lose what I'm really trying to say... #TeaRamblings #Fedi

Who knew that post op recovery time would lead to working on more projects than I can possibly complete in the time I have! LOL Have just added repairing/modifying the sashiko cushion from a kit I bought at a craft fair at Alexandra Palace sometime early 2000's for my Mum, which I promptly received back once it was complete. I currently know nothing about quilting, patchwork or sashiko, and will be doing this without a sewing machine, but I don't want to lose the cushion cover, so this...

In aid of trying to do something useful with my enforced time off in the summer, I got one of the bigger jobs done yesterday as preparation. Planted up some pots with things I can water with a very small watering can and care for during that time, but that are also good for the local wildlife. May need more pots as I'd love to have some aubrietta again, which is a pink or purple flowing plant which the bees love. Would look lovely trailing over the side of my white pots. #MentalHealth...

Can I have my upgraded Atari 520STE back now please? I'm not convinced this whole PC timeline is working... Would be quite happy with the customisable Little Green Desktop, Timeworks Desktop Publisher, Llamasoft games, Cyber Paint and various demo disks that kept my brother and I happy for hours. #RetroComputing #Atari #TeaRamblings

Looking for yarn shops that focus on sustainability or are owned by/support LGBTQIA+ or Black/Asian/Indian/Pakistani groups etc. in the UK? Searches under LGBTQ are mostly being up pre-made items. My current favourite Knit With Attitude doesn't stock quite what I am looking for and I have an experimental crochet bombing project I want to complete. #AskFedi #Knitting #Crochet #FibreArts #UK
