@s0@cathode.church @LapTop006@aus.social would work with AirPort base stations and Apple TVs with built-in PSUs, too (à la original AirPort Expresses [or is it “AirPorts Express”]) 😀

@s0@cathode.church Could you ehhhh pad the Mac mini so it's not slanted and putting stress on the power connector?

@s0@cathode.church I used to plug other IEC cables into Apple’s power adapters that were expecting one of their outlet dongles, I kinda loved how they decided “we’ll just use a standard for AC and see how it pans out” in this situation rather than their usual strategy of inventing some special connector users need new cables/adapters for the next model.

@s0@cathode.church I mean seriously, that's good design. It's not perfect, but they didn't unnecessarily remove a feature that's easy to do and without downsides.... then again that device seems to need a dongle even for essential features like Ethernet.

@s0@cathode.church Love this. Next step is planning your outlet placement for a cluster of those, and each one is supported by the plus of the one below it. @timixretroplays@digipres.club
