@MichaelTBacon ICE agents under pressure from looming quotas they are having trouble filling… I’m sure that won’t make them reckless about due process and proper investigation, or lead them to resort to profiling and blatant persecution of visible minorities? 😞 Keep up the pressure folks, but expect it to get worse.

@MichaelTBacon the raids actually piss me off since a post had to be posted in a support group for adoptees from Russia. The post explained what to do and provided a site for free legal council since some adoptees are citizens, but never got the papers (there is a law that took effect in 2001). So this is good he is getting frustrated. Spanish is sold out right now) WHAT TO DO AT AN ICE CHECKPOINT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WHITE and/or FEEL THE NEED TO JAM UP THE WORKS. Here's the deal: 🔘 Border Patrol can verify citizenship within 100 miles of a border or "external boundary." This includes coastlines, so NYC, Philadelphia, and all of NJ are within the 100-mile zone. 🔘 Border patrol can only ask brief questions about citizenship, and they cannot hold you for an extended time without cause. 🔘 You always have the right to remain silent. You do not need to answer their questions. 🔘 WITH THAT SAID, IF YOU ARE A BORN CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WHITE, YOU NEED TO SPEAK THE FUCK UP.
