  @Her_Doing@sunny.garden you can render the fat, put it in a tight jar in the fridge and use it for frying. *If you have never rendered fat, it's easy but a little time consuming. Just put the fat trimmings in a skillet or Dutch oven and saute using low heat, until the fat liquifies. Pour fat through a strainer into a jar and store it in the fridge.

  @wdlindsy@toad.social there are over a billion Catholics in the world, and I believe that there are a significant number of people, like me, who no longer consider themselves Catholic but still believe much of their core beliefs. The TOTAL US population is significantly less than half of that. And a lot of Americans are Catholic. Between the orange cockwomble and the Pope, my money is on the Pope.
