OPINION, but open to respectful debate.
My presidential dream team:
Newsom and Buttigieg
Hear me out.
I've spent most of my adult life in Southern California. I understand that a lot of people don't really like Gavin.
On the far right, I assume it's because the 🤡 doesn't like him and likes to scapegoat him and MAGA just blindly follows. On the far left, they got pissy because he has had podcasts with far right guests. Our democracy was designed for compromise, and even after the orange cockwomble melts down, there will still be a lot of his associates in office. It would be good to know what the one thing they consider to be the most important is. Newsom has the political savvy, common sense and a media team that has extensive expertise in messaging.
RN, Newsom is 58, and Buttigieg is 44.
If they were to win, and serve two full terms under Gavin, Pete would 54, and the perfect age, IMHO, for the presidency in 2036.
I just think that these two have experience running large economies, without trying to grift the entire country. And there's the added benefit that they are both charismatic, very knowledgeable about American politics, and well known and respected internationally. Definitely moreso than the 🤡and his ☠️ cult.
The Democrats really need to come up with LONG TERM plans and goals. One of the reasons we got beat was that we didn't have anything to counter project 2025, and the people at the top acted as if it was no big deal, even though the GOP have been planning this for at 40 years. Another reason is the the ancients in charge didn't even really try to be more inclusive to the young people.
Seriously, no one in their 80's should be running a country of this size, and someone with a felony conviction, for ANYTHING*, shouldn't be allowed to run for any Federal office, including the Presidency.
*And a presidential pardon should not be able to change this.
