  For anyone who needs it pointed out: Air Canada was expecting people to be upset about flight disruptions, and they were counting on people to blame the workers. So… make sure you tell your friends and neighbours that Air Canada expects flight attendants to do a bunch of work for free, and that you support workers in demanding fair pay for the work they do.

  Something to keep in mind: when your nations enemies decide to try a knockout strike before they attack you, all those mega-project data centres they want to build next to your community will be prime targets. 🤷‍♂️

  I hear the term “regime change” tossed about with dismaying ease, as if it’s as simple as changing the sheets or something.   @timkmak @RadicalRox Engagement is slower - ‘harder’ - here, in that you can’t buy or game access to people, but that means the engagement you do have is all direct, sincere, and meaningful. I do think there are many folks who don’t yet realize how important it is to boost good content so others can see it; the most recent wave of arrivals haven’t fully caught on to that yet it seems.

Well, I will miss it… since we got a soda stream, my kids and I have fun mixing drink flavours for sparkling beverages using frozen concentrates. My current go-to is a spoonful of lemonade, another of mango punch, a splash of lime juice, a pinch of salt, and sparkling water to the top.

I know this sounds odd, but vehicle controls should be tested blind, because to drive safely I need to be able to operate most of them without taking my eyes off the road, and that requires physical control...

  @catelli.bsky.social In July my partner and I travelled to Halifax and rented the “manager’s special” for a week. (It’s cheap, they choose the vehicle when you arrive). We’ve done this before often enough that we didn’t worry about it. They handed me the keys to a Tesla. I gave it shot for about half a day and then made them give me a different car.
