Whether it is my Kobo or other ebook related projects, almost all have stats and goals, a feature you can’t disable. I read to escape the world. I read to travel to parallel universes, to futures that may not exist. I read to go an adventure. I have enough KPIs and goals in my life, I don’t want productivity measurements in my downtime. #books #reading #kobo

@thibaultamartin@mamot.fr i am really happy with nickelmenu, koreader and plato on my kobo. Maybe thats something for you? I don't see any stats in there https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314220

@thibaultamartin@mamot.fr Are there stats and goals on the Kobo? I haven't noticed anything like that on mine.

@thibaultamartin@mamot.fr I read using koreader on my Kobo. I believe there are stats hidden away somewhere in the system but I definitely do not see them. Unless you turn the status bar on, the interface is just the text of the book you are reading. The only statistic I care about sometimes is how far through a book I am, just to know whether to keep on reading to finish a book or get some sleep instead. ;-) #Kobo #KOReader
