Ah here we go, the shitty car comments. A&gt; I don&#39;t use it much, I just really enjoy it when I do. 2) Public transport is a non- starter for physical reasons iii. I actually need the damn thing B: Car enthusiasts are generally good because they work to keep their cars, reducing scrap/demand. iiii) it&#39;s a fucking nice car 4: piss off.

I get this is not a huge car place, but I still get to enjoy things in my life even if they do not align with your personal perspective.

@babe A) I’ve never understood the fuck cars people. They are the people who blast you for having a house. 2.) seeing comments like yours (not only yours) are the reason I’ve never bought a bmw and may never will

@babe My life has recently been genuinely transformed by buying a car. But I'm always very wary of the people here who can't or won't understand that not everyone has the same lives as themselves. Being out in the sticks, finally getting a car feels like being let out of jail.

@babe I didn’t see the original interaction, but you might be surprised to discover there are quite a few car enthusiasts around here. Personally I grew up with cars and I love driving, but I haven’t actually owned a car for a very long time. And if I ever own one again it will be an EV. Classic cars are museum pieces - increasingly as technology leaves them behind - and it is good that some people are prepared to put in the effort to preserve them.

@babe I have NINE cars. I might get a second one running, soon. Two need like... A ton of metalwork. Like an actual tonne. I have half of a car next to one that is missing a third of the metal.

@babe its just like heterosexuality. when you make it compulsory people get mad about that. i'm mad about that. but i also have horrible back problems and need to drive the car. 🤷 its what its and those folks can shove it lol
