@babe My life has recently been genuinely transformed by buying a car. But I'm always very wary of the people here who can't or won't understand that not everyone has the same lives as themselves. Being out in the sticks, finally getting a car feels like being let out of jail.

@RolloTreadway @babe yes, most rural areas are a world away from having satisfactory public transport. It’s called forcible car ownership.
