@OohOkayKay ah, wow, I'm actually pretty surprised that tomato is lower than broccoli! I guess the more liquidy/water content of tomato probably has a roll to play there.

@OohOkayKay it has been somewhat well over a decade since I used to do full macronutrient analysis of my meals. (But it was very much an effective thing to do, I lost a lot of weight, gained a lot of strength... I just couldn't sustain the discipline.)

@yvan It's the amount of natural carbs they contain. Onions are in the high 6 net carbs. And I don't even go near beans, rice, pasta or potatoes. When doing keto I'm restricted to 54.8 net carbs a day, so I quickly learned to make cauliflower rice and cauliflower mash as potato substitutes. Keto is a lot of work because you have make everything from scratch. And it's expensive. :(
