@blinry I've never started with a powder, but large seitan slices work great with asian style marinades and sauces.

@blinry lol had exactly the same due to what I call "loriot's mustard effect", but never managed to make good seitan (no matter what, it always tasted like weird bread), so not sure if i already gave it away or still have it in my shelf. wish you better luck!

@blinry this Kara-age recipe https://justhungry.com/2004/04/karaage_japanes.html with this meat substitute: https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/vegan-seitan-tenders/#recipe Perfect :) Other than that, I make my own sausage: https://janhendrikpeters.de/recipe/sausagefest/

@blinry I have exactly the same bucket here, and an empty one whose contents I've already used up :D I mostly use it for vegan Döner Kebap, which I make in bulk, freeze and then use on demand: https://recipes.tilman.ninja/tstehr/Vegan_Doener_Kebab It also works nicely in other Döner/Gyros recipes, e.g. https://recipes.tilman.ninja/tstehr/Gyrosnudeln
