@monkeyninja@10base2.dev Still think the best job for the fae would be in the service industry. Restaurant hostess "May I have your name please?" Or wait staff "What do you want today?" Then they get to bring you food that you willingly eat, *and* are now indebted to them by both convention and law. It's brilliant!

@monkeyninja Logically, I cannot prove that faeries do not exist. However, it costs me little to acknowledge the Good Folk and carry on the traditions of my ancestry, and if faeries do turn out to exist, I'm covered. I think Voltaire said something like this about a relationship with God.

@monkeyninja Science has been discovering the existence of creatures it wasn't aware of and / or didn't believe were possible since we started looking. lack of evidence doesn't mean a thing doesn't exist. If that were enough then every major religion would collapse. science and logic say "yup, there could be faeries"

@monkeyninja If the fae don’t exist, all you risk is looking a little silly (& a small investment of bread, milk, and honey). If they do exist, you’re covered. It’s like the OG win-win.
