I’m seeing so many newer apps with entire sentences or even paragraphs in the UI to describe simple settings toggles. Idk if this is a direct result of vibe coding or just asking an LLM to describe the feature, but wow it clutters the UI while increasing the cognitive load. I accidentally tested GNOME OS Preview on my work laptop (I made an install flash drive for another computer and then left it in when rebooting…), and holy smokes this is smooooooth. Idk if it’s just GNOME 51 updates, or something GNOME OS itself is doing, but it feels really, really snappy. And GNOME 50 on Fedora Silverblue was no slouch, either!
