Salt Lake Tribune: Beaver installed flood cameras after the wildfire. Four days later, the flood came. "...Whitney and Robinson say the cameras provided them with just enough time — about 75 minutes — to clear the Grove area, where residents living in about 200 homes were evacuated before the debris flow struck and inundated the residential neighborhood...." https://www.sltrib.com/news/2026/07/22/how-cameras-helped-warn-beaver/ #disasters #evacuations #flooding #UTwx #EmergencyManagement

Power has been restored in the Ashdown Forest/Fiddlers Canyon area (north side of Cedar). RMP has warned us that it might go off again tomorrow for similar reasons. Charge ALL THE THINGS! #utwx

In much of Cedar City and Enoch, the power has been off since 2:30. The cities are asking us to turn off all outdoor irrigation until at least Monday because they can't refill the tanks without power and are worried about not having enough water to fight fires. #utwx
