CENTCOM: Six Iranian gunboats eliminated in Strait of Hormuz
Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command, reported that six Iranian military boats were sunk in the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, the Iranian vessels attempted to attack ships passing through the strategically vital waterway. In response, U.S. forces took action to neutralize the threat, resulting in the destruction of the boats. Iran has denied the claim, calling it baseless. The incident occurs amid heightened tensions in the Persian Gulf region.
