If you have an app that relies on alternative frontends such as #Invidious, #Nitter and others, it's often hard to maintain a list of instances. I had that problem with #UntrackMe and #CastLab, so a CI job now runs every day to maintain a list of available instances. I might add support for this to #Fedilab. So Google refuses to delete my dev account because they suspended #UntrackMe, an app that redirects Big Tech content to alternative privacy front-ends. Seriously? Their advice: fix the "compliance issues" first. So I guess my only option left is to rename it TrackMe and have it redirect privacy front-ends back to Big Tech instead. That should fix it. F*** Google!

#UntrackMe 2.0 will be available soon. Fully rebuilt with a new approach: the app now registers as a browser on Android 12+. Every link you tap goes through UntrackMe first, gets cleaned of tracking params, redirected to a privacy-friendly frontend if relevant, then handed off to the browser or app of your choice. It also follows redirect chains to bypass tracking shorteners and unwrap any wrappers such as Google redirects.
