"There are different kinds of curiosity: one springs from interest, which makes us desire to know everything that may be profitable to us; another from pride, which springs from a desire of knowing what others are ignorant of."

  • La Rochefoucauld, Moral Maxim № 173 (1678)

If he's implying that the second kind is worse, then pub #trivia must not have been invented yet in 1678. I want to know; AND I want to vanquish all challengers. Don't talk about my $25 gift card like it's some kind of vice.

Let's play a game! The rules are simple: Tell me something about yourself.

  1. It should be a fun or weird, and trivial.
  2. It should be substantially different from recent answers.
  3. We alternate turns.
  4. Use #TellAlice so they're easy to find.
  • Since we have N players, you can reply to anyone in the thread as your turn.
  • You can respond to someone else's answer, but you have to take your own turn in the same reply.

I'll start.

The first time I went to a Japanese restaurant was with friends in highschool, and I ate the ball of wasabi thinking it was part of the sushi. It still comes up sometimes.
