I was just listening to Vox's "Today, Explained" podcast ("It must suck to be young") talking with some politically aware kids about arguments. One mentioned looking up a list of 10 characteristics of genocide and saying "it doesn't match all of them." My immediate thought was "kid, if you gotta look at a list and say there’s 10% of the characteristics that it doesn’t meet then fine, you win, maybe it’s just sparkling mass fucking murder.
