I stopped to take a picture of some vetch on this morning's hike and discovered this pretty little goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia) had made the flowers her home. She was pretty active and camera shy, which is why the first picture is so much darker-- it was the only one she let me get of her face, and she had moved to the shady side of the flowers.
