Looking down on the glorious Charing Cross Mansions in Glasgow from a nearby pedestrian bridge. Designed by J.J. Red sandstone tenements stretching down Pollokshaws Road on the Southside of Glasgow. The one on the corner was built in 1901 for the spirit merchant John Hunter Gilmour, who ran the pub on the ground floor, and highlights the contributions pubs have made to Glasgow's distinctive architecture.
