Federal grants impact every area of our society. They fund essential health care, education, and housing services for those in need. They fund scientific research that improves everyone’s lives. They fund states to provide the basic services we all depend upon. Now Trump and Vought want to use these services as leverage to force everyone to accept their discriminatory policies.
This proposed rule prioritizes a right-wing extremist agenda over programs that support LGBTQIA+ students, address maternal health disparities for Black women, provide services for survivors of domestic violence, expand access to reproductive health care, invest in child care and early learning, and much more.
Tell your senators and representative that public funding should serve communities, not political agendas that attack gender justice and democracy.
