You should use a #Linux distro that is properly preconfigured and vetted by a community. This is why #Arch or #NixOS shouldn't be your first recommendation for newcomers. In fact, if we are to go by high security standards, your first distro should be an immutable one like #Bazzite or #Silverblue.
