Wäre das nicht mal einen #Antrag in der #RV wert @gruenekiel@gruene.social , künftig nach jeder #KielerWoche ausführliche Zahlen zu #co2 , #Klimaauswirkungen und #Klimaschutzmaßnahmen von der #Verwaltung #Kiel zu bekommen?
Nur als Beispiel, es gab während der #KiWo 12 #Kreuzfahrer Anläufe. #KVG fuhr circa 37.000 zusätzliche Kilometer. #SFK: jeden Tag mehr als 22 zusätzliche Fahrten #öpnv
Und dann die Schwenkgrills! ☝️🙂

I’m super pleased that our #CabinAtTheLake setup is totally solar-powered and energy self-sufficient—most of the time.
With all the cloudy/stormy weather we’ve been experiencing the system has been struggling to replenish itself daily. I’ve thought about upgrading our generating/storage capacity but I’m also kind of intrigued with these solar ‘generators’, since one could use it in a number of different circumstances.
Does anyone have any experience/recommendations with these?

Had to deal with a poopsicle on our RV today. If you’re not familiar with the term, it’s a frozen sewer hose. Ours is heated, but we’ve been lazy and leaving the valves open rather than jumping once a week or so. The slow steady flow combined with the prolonged cold spell (the average temperature here, day and night, has been just 17°F for the whole of January) caused it.
It was just about has much fun to deal with as you can imagine. We’ll fill and dump now.
