In January, I finally made my first zine and Roll the Zine – a board and card game fanzine — was born. Yesterday's panel discussion about zines at #Finncon got me thinking about the hobby so I wrote down some initial thoughts after the first 7 months. https://hamatti.org/posts/thoughts-on-making-zines-after-7-months/ #zine #RollTheZine #blogging #blog #BoardGames

Thoughts on making zines after 7 months

I have been inspired by zines for years but it took until this January to start making my own. Roll the Zine is a board and card game zine that publishes every now and then. In this blog post, I talk about my journey, ideas and inspiration.

To celebrate #Finncon, my zine special edition is now out. In this fifth edition of Roll the Zine, I write about the best scifi board games: the universe is a pretty big place and there's room for love, adventure, business, war and comedy in all of that vastness. https://zine.hamatti.org/issues/5/ #RollTheZine #zine #scifi #BoardGames
