Spring Fever by The Jazz Brothers feat. Chuck Mangione, Gap Mangione, Sal Nistico released on Riverside in 1961. From The Liner Notes: "The mode of expression for The Jazz Brothers is a modern, hard-swinging one, tempered by softer (but no less swinging) performances. The former vein is exemplified by Chuck Mangiones Brooks Brothers (a punning reference to an up-state New York disc jockey) and Spring Fever, and by Frank Pullaras Not Too Serious. The quietest moments are found on the celebrated standard ballad, What's New?, which contains a long, expressive Nestico solo, sandwiched by some sensitive muted work by Chuck..." https://www.mangionemagic.com/spring-fever.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTJjLDuiyUM&list=RDjTJjLDuiyUM&start_radio=1 #JazzBrothers #ChuckMangione #GapMangione #RiversideRecords #Jazz #HardBop #Music #SalNistico

Cannonball's Bossa Nova is a 1962 album by jazz musician Julian "Cannonball" Adderley. First released on Riverside in 1963.. The Penguin Guide to Jazz awarded the album 3 stars, stating: "Cannonball's Bossa Nova finds Adderley on a Brazilian vacation, with some of the local talent. Little more than a sweet-natured excursion into some of the indigenous music, it's a pleasing diversion." - Wikipedia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_Zoa1YtPQQ&list=PLoERbxXMyKwbxLNY2AwkNx946ngo7VqV5&index=1 #CannonballAdderley #Jazz #BossaNova #Music #RiversideRecords
