My journey going fulltime #linux continues. I noted wanting to move from my first choice (#pikaos) and give #steamos a try on my main desktop (this move also involved ditching the small win11 partition I held onto since buying the hardware). This did take place since that post... and I spent some time playing around with it... but I quickly ran into some choices made for Steam OS that didn't sit right with me as a desktop environment. So I went exploring further. Wanting to stick to #archlinux (as something to explore as I've dabbled mostly with Debian based distros), I decided to give #CachyOS a go. Thus far its snappy and seems to be smart with its makeup. Let's see how this one goes!
