Hungary's new government is to review the country's €16 billion Security Action for Europe (SAFE) defence plan, citing corruption risks. Outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán submitted a request for a low-interest loan to the European Commission last year under SAFE, which will distribute €150 billion among 19 member states for military readiness across the bloc.
