Il Fatto Quotidiano: “Io di mestiere faccio il coglione, tu di mestiere fai il pezzo di me***. Ti becchiamo”: Paolo Ruffini risponde con un video al truffatore che ha sottratto 4000 euro a una fan fingendosi lui
“Quanto gli hai dato?”, “Quasi 4000 euro”. Questo lo scambio che apre un video girato da Paolo Ruffini assieme a una sua fan, al termine di uno spettacolo. Quando la donna si avvicina all’attore e gli dice di avergli versato 4000 euro per sostenere alcune cause benefiche, lui capisce immediatamente: i soldi sono stati chiesti da un truffatore che si spaccia per lui. Ecco quindi che Ruffini prende il telefono e registra un messaggio per il falso profilo. “Ciao, guarda con chi sono”, esordisce allargando l’inquadratura verso la fan. Poi si rivolge al truffatore: “Io sono Paolo Ruffini, tu no. Io di mestiere faccio il coglione, tu di mestiere fai il pezzo di merda. Tanto ti becchiamo, con calma, ma ti becchiamo”. Il video, pubblicato poi sui suoi social, diventa anche un appello a chi lo segue: “Ragazzi, tutte le merde che trovate come questo ragazzo o questa ragazza, tutti quelli che vi dicono di essere me e vi chiedono i soldi, denunciateli. Fatemi una cortesia, denunciate queste merde che si approfittano della gentilezza e della generosità delle persone che mi seguono per far stare male qualcun altro”. Alla fine la donna, visibilmente provata, dice a Ruffini: “Io mi occupo di volontariato”. L’attore la abbraccia e risponde: “Io non so cosa fare, mi dispiace infinitamente”.

“How much did you give him?”, “Almost 4000 euros”. This is the exchange that opens a video filmed by Paolo Ruffini together with one of his fans, at the end of a performance. When the woman approaches the actor and tells him she’s given him 4000 euros to support some charitable causes, he immediately understands: the money was asked for by a con artist posing as him. So Ruffini takes the phone and records a message for the false profile.
“Hello, look who I am,” he exclaims widening the shot towards the fan. Then he turns to the con artist: “I am Paolo Ruffini, you are not. I’m a professional idiot, you’re a piece of shit. We'll catch you, calmly, but we’ll catch you.”
The video, later published on his social media, also becomes an appeal to those who follow him: “Guys, all the garbage you find like this boy or girl, everyone who tells you they are me and asks you for money, report them. Do me a favor, report these pieces of shit that take advantage of the kindness and generosity of people who follow me to harm someone else.”
Finally, the woman, visibly distressed, says to Ruffini: “I do volunteer work”. The actor hugs her and responds: “I don’t know what to do, I am infinitely sorry.”
