Nie dość, że Nigeria co uznaje, że festiwal płodności i gwałty kobiet są częścią kultury, to jeszcze spełnia mokry sen wielu osób queer, fandomów i jebanej Rowling... Ale pamiętaj, to my jesteśmy winni kultury czystości i zasługujemy na "Terapię", by nas naprawiła, bo jesteśmy fałszywą opresją 🙃 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzxlZG1sVyg #Youtube #Ace #Queer #LGBTqia #Rant #Fandom #Rowling #Nigeria

#StateDepartment #Map Mislabels #African Countries at #AIDS Conference

#Nigeria , a coastal country in Western #Africa , was landlocked in the #Sahara , among other errors. The department said it had been “hastily altered.”

are they smarter than a fifth grader?

⚡Ecological degradation in the #Niger 🇳🇪 Delta of #Nigeria 🇳🇬 has intensified as multinational companies divest their assets while attempting to shift responsibility for environmental and human impacts. Local communities face an ongoing crisis as these firms exit the region, leaving behind significant pollution and unresolved damage to mangrove ecosystems. Today in Labor History July 22, 1895: Nigerian jazz musician August Agbola O'Browne was born. He is believed to be the only black person to have participated in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising against the Nazi occupation. O’Browne had emigrated to Britain, and then traveled to Poland with a travelling theater group. He was the first African man to record a jazz album in Poland. In 1949, he joined the Union of Fighters for Freedom and Democracy in Warsaw. His code name was “Ali.” Before the uprising, he helped distribute underground papers. He survived the war and continued his musical career. He died in Britain in the 1970s. #workingclass #LaborHistory #nazis #fascism #antifascism #poland #augustobrown #nigeria #warsaw #uprising #jazz #BlackMastodon

#Enugu #Nigeria What happens after the lesson ends, and peer pressure enters the scene? A student can understand climate change and still avoid carrying a reusable bottle or joining the eco club because friends think it’s weird, nerdy or boring The solution to this is to make climate clubs the cool clubs where being a recycling champion carries status that will move students to ask “Why am I not part of this?” instead of “Will my friends laugh if I join?” https://realnewsmagazine.net/overlooked-power-of-social-influence-in-climate-education/ #climate

Growing up in Northern #Nigeria, I knew lots of kids of Lebanese heritage. I don't know their history but many had been in Nigeria for generations; they spoke better Hausa and Pidgin than me, but were never considered truly Nigerian. The best ones grew up and left. The unrecognised strength of countries like Britain and America is that you *can* become British, become American. We keep our best. It hurts me that we take it for granted, and so many people want to get rid of it. #UKpol #USpol

#Nigeria In its latest report, “African Banks Have Structural Exposure to Climate Risk; Credit Implications Evolving,” the global credit rating agency said Nigerian banks rank among the most vulnerable financial institutions in Africa because of their significant lending exposure to the country’s oil and gas and agriculture sectors, both of which are increasingly susceptible to the effects of climate change and the global transition to a low-carbon economy https://thewhistler.ng/fitch-predicts-rising-climate-risks-for-nigerian-banks/ #climate
