Thiago est brésilien et Saif est palestinien, et a la nationalité espagnole

Despite the release of most activists who were abducted from the “Sumud Flotilla” aimed at breaking the blockade on Gaza, and their arrival in Greece, two of them remain abducted: Saif Abu Keshk and Thiago Ávila.

Saif Abu Keshk is the head of the “International Coalition to Break the Siege” and is a Palestinian from the West Bank who holds Spanish citizenship.

As for Thiago Ávila, he is a prominent Brazilian activist who has participated in several previous humanitarian flotillas.

According to Adalah and confirmed by the Embassy of Brazil in Israel, flotilla activists Thiago de Avila and Saif Abukeshek, kidnapped by Israeli occupation naval forces in international waters on April 30, have been beaten, blindfolded, held in stress positions, and interrogated by Shin Bet.

De Avila lost consciousness twice and faces possible Mossad interrogation on “terrorist” suspicion. Both are on hunger strike and are due in court on May 3.
