I guess I had to choose the year I got married, it was the best day of my life. 1997 is #MyYearMySong for #TuneTuesday. Lots of candidates, but I chose Gorky’s because they mean a lot to us both, they were local to us at the time, and we played them a lot throughout our dating. #TuneTuesday #MyYearMySong 2014 was one of those 'quietly good' years. Nothing momentous happened, but I was at a nice point of my PhD – did research in the British Library most weeks, went to my first few conferences, had some good friends nearby – and did some other fun stuff.
