There was so much more to this album than the classic “The Boys Are Back In Town.” Which anyone who listened to my album rock airshift years ago would have discovered. Dead silence on deck with the exception of an owl in a tree line somewhere here in the yard. A perfect setting for more Floyd. I have three Howard Miller clocks in the living room; a 78th anniversary grandfather clock, a 59th anniversary Regulator one of THE coolest, most beautiful people in my life gave me and a mantle clock I picked up at a yard sale for about $10 during the 90s and there are those moments, especially here on deck on pleasant evenings such as this, when they chime at the same time and remind me of this classic. #MusicOfMastodon #70sAlbumRock #TheDarkSideOfTheMoon https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=80LhtHY_fHw&ra=m

An ear worm on deck from the 90s “one hit wonder” file. My kids liked it soooo what hell. And I always liked the sampling of Andrea True’s “More More More” from ‘76. One of my “Minneapolis tunes” I’d hear on what was, in 1983, Rock 101FM/KDWB and liked enough I picked up the album (still in the collection with about 600 others!) and it is, as far as I’m concerned, the best tune on the album. The guitar solo work kicks. I was thinking about, as I putted around preparing for some deck time at the end of my first day of vacation, how many times I’ve done this since June of 2011. Dunno why.
