#metric

Since we here in the USA don’t know the #metric system, we need to learn more units for this weekend

I am envious of people in other countries that use the #metric system. Here in the USA, we still use measurements of bananas, washing machines, religious chicken sauce packets, elephants, and so called "football" stadiums. Consider yourself lucky that measurements can easily be quantized in units of ten for scientific and engineering scales and people know what the hell you are talking about.

Now that I'm using Si units instead of imperial units, I wanted to do the right thing for non-whole numbers, especially for distance in kilometers. I am guessing decimals are used to be more multi language-friendly, but wanted to confirm fractions are an imperial unit convention. #SiUnits #Metric

Shout out to all of the recipe blogs that also include metric! Now, for the crochet sites to also include UK...

#ThreeGoodThings this week:

1. My heart has calmed down. Going out for 10k steps and gym has helped.
2. So has my new, low stress job!
3. Though I don't know what the cause is, I know how to manage my night time asthma.
