☠️ Death is the only certainty in life. It is a concept we often avoid, yet it remains the singular constant for every one of us. Over the years I have explored and photographed many locations associated with this finality. My visits took me through crematoriums, mortuaries, and chapels of rest. Very sad to hear about the passing of The Mac Observer's John Martellaro, and so soon after my fellow Macworld alum Chuck La Tournous. I respected John's work and shared many conversations and meals with him at Apple events. Brilliant and funny. We lost Tim Robertson of MyMac last year. I'm sure there are others too that aren't top of mind for me at the moment, but my point is that seeing my cohort of Apple writers and pundits passing through the veil is unsettling. #Apple #mementomori
