1600 comments and counting on Facebook. All on my post about my experiences in the COVID ICU. About 2/3 of them are supportive. About 1/3 are hateful and even threatening. Several of them had to be reported to law enforcement as credible threats.
I keep seeing two common comments among the fascist MAGA cult members. One is about the vaccine killing millions of people. The other is about Remdesivir killing billions of people. The same Remdesivir their Lord and Savior Donald Jesus Trump took and called a miracle drug. (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/president-trump-completes-second-dose-of-the-remdesivir-drug)
The COVID vaccine that their God Trump took is also in the crosshairs. But didn’t he take credit for creating the vaccine? So he created it but it killed millions and thus it is evil! (https://www.fox29.com/news/trump-takes-credit-for-covid-19-vaccine-i-hope-everyone-remembers)

Another widely debunked claim was that hospitals and doctors made extra money by claiming deaths were from COVID. (https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/hospital-payments-and-the-covid-19-death-count/) Yet, there is not factual basis for that claim. Even if it were true, that money would have been set by the current federal administration which at the time was Trumps administration. So we are to believe that Trump authorized paying more to hospitals and doctors to lie about the number of COVID deaths?
One last claim to look at. No one died of anything but COVID in 2020 and 2021. This is by far the more ignorant of the claims. The CDC itself refutes this as do various state governmental agencies. I have attached to charts below to show that COVID wasn’t even the leading cause of deaths in the USA. Yes, COVID was bad as a single cause and overwhelmed an already strained medical system. But it was not the only cause of death in those years.
