I noticed that TikTok supports Polls in Comments by the video creator, and when you comment, it shows the option you voted for. That is very interesting, but I'm not sure how it would be received if Mastodon users voted on a poll and commented, only for their choice to be public on Loops. Reposts are coming to Loops, I'm just finishing up the last few bits. Your reposts will be shown on your profile, under a new reposts tab. Reposts from accounts you follow will be included in your Following feed, and sometimes in the For You feed. They will also be federated to your followers, like Boosts on Mastodon. We shipped a few improvements to our web uploader, fixing the missing audio bug and improving transcoding support for larger files on Safari browsers. We are working to increase max upload size to 100MB, and are considering increasing max video length from 3 minutes to 5 minutes and allowing you to increase quality to 1080p for 3-10 videos per month. Loops Admins: Did you know you can easily configure database backups that get stored to a separate S3 compatible disk as private zips with optional archive passwords that also get purged so you only keep the most X recent backups, with the limit being up to you?

All you need to do is configure the S3 credentials, and set LOOPS_BACKUPS_ENABLED=true in .env.
