對美國人來說， 1776年7月4日是個偉大的日子。 今年是獨立宣言250週年紀念。 令人震驚的是，NPR說， 有個智庫抽樣調查2000多個美國人， 有40%竟然不知道250週年是紀念獨立宣言。 這會不會太誇張，小時候不是應該就知道了嗎。 先不論現在的美國怎樣。 那時有好多了不起的先驅。 想起一部製作精良的美劇， 是根據同名書籍改編的，John Adams。 影視劇有很多戲劇化的部分。 但自己認為這部最好看的是第二集。 整集大部分是代表們在討論，或者說吵架。 之前從沒見過吵架還能拍的那麼好看的。 最後是最贊的部分。 一個個投票，最後通過， 美國歷史上最重要的文件之一。 沒有鼓掌，沒有歡呼。 結尾獨立宣言裡一些著名的句子被念出來。 伴隨著音樂和鼓聲，和亞當斯自己的想法。 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Adams_(miniseries) https://www.npr.org/2026/07/03/nx-s1-5881451/cato-institute-250th-july-4th-constitution-declaration-of-independence-poll #美國 #July4 #IndependenceDay

Trump *could* have just gone with an updated bicentennial. Keep what people recall liking about the bicentennial (tall ships, "bicentennial minutes," merchandise, etc.) and modernize the rest (social media, more attention to diversity, etc.)... #FourthOfJuly #IndependenceDay

i just noticed Vivica offers a lift to an evangelical and he turns her down. i have watched this movie countless times and just noticed that.
