The hearing is supposed to be about investigating the origins of the #coronavirus, but #Republicans are largely using it to attack & disparage Dr. #Fauci personally, trying to paint a picture of him as pursuing fame & money at Americans’ expense, & mocking him for taking the #FifthAmendment. Senator #BernieMoreno, Republican of Ohio, says aloud one main consequence of today’s hearing: It will produce video clips that Republicans can use to campaign. -Sick🤬 #ConspiracyTheories #science #law
