Agghghhh!!! 😖 📅 I have a medical appointment next Monday. ✅ Last Monday I got a reminder text & confirmed the appointment via text. ✅ Also got both text & email with a link to pre-register online. (I am annoyed at how this task makes the appointment encroach upon non-appointment time, but I understand it helps the practice.) Completed the online check-in process. 😠 Now today, I get a phone call from the practice. After a few muddled exchanges - "How may I help you?" "Uh, YOU called ME." - it becomes clear it's an AI calling!!!! They make me re-confirm the appointment again, tell me nothing new, and in the end do nothing but raise my blood pressure. #AISlop #EnshittificationOfRealLife
