Today is the 25th anniversary of the murder of Carlo Giuliani, who was shot and then subsequently run over by a police van during the protests against the G8 in Genoa in 2001, part of the international uprising against globalisation which began with the "Battle of Seattle" in 1999.
There are murals in memory of Carlo in cities across Europe. He was 23 years old.
