'Nationwide, 60 #dataCenters are planning to build their own #gas plants to avoid connecting to the grid.
At least 15 are planned for #Texas. 9 of them combined would emit more than 130 million tons of greenhouse gases per year—the equivalent of 35 coal-fired power plants.
The impact on the #climate will be enormous: THESE 9 PLANTS WILL EMIT MORE THAN MOST COUNTRIES— even if emissions end up being half of what’s permitted.' 🤬🤬🤬
